Being a Single Mother, is hands-down, NO JOKE.   Whether resulting from Divorce, or otherwise, we Moms are here to get the job done…Regardless.

Unfortunately, the World acts like being a Single Mother is a bad thing.   Let me break you off some facts so folks can understand what it’s like to be about this Life:

  1. Is challenging, frustrating and rewarding

  2. Is not a Disease or Condition

  3. The buck starts and stops with YOU

  4. Makes you very Independent, Strong and Resourceful

  5. Takes multi-tasking and planning to a whole ‘nother level

  6. Tests your Faith and Religion on many occasions

  7. Is not Contagious!

  8. Is the hardest job in the world

  9. Does not define who you are as a Woman in it’s entirety – only your status

  10. Who are also Dads, Counselors, Referee’s, Cooks, Disciplinarians, Security Officers, Nurses, Housekeepers, Teachers, Drivers etc., etc., etc. – AND FOR FREE

This by far is not an exclusive list.   I would need to write a book for that matter.  I just wanted to give a shout-out to all the Single Mothers out there who are doing the best they can to take care of their Families, while working and juggling it all.

Remember…..YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  NEVER for one minute, compromise YOUR happiness and ME time.  Take the time out to do the things you enjoy.   Don’t give up on Romance.  Take care of Yourself, so you can take care of your Family.  When you FEEL good…Your Family will BE good!
