Ladies, you don’t have to pray for a miracle to get your Balancing Act on.  Trying to balance work, home, school, kids, your significant other, can be overwhelming and exhausting!  It does require organization and some planning in order to establish, and maintain, some peace and harmony in your life.

As a Divorced Mother of three, and a working Professional, I learned some valuable lessons along the way that allowed me to stay SANE! (regardless of what anyone else may say- lol):

As a Leader in the workplace:  DELEGATE!!

Things may not be done exactly the way you like them to be done, but if the required end result is the same, then that’s the goal.  Learning to trust others and lean on others for help is key in Coaching and Developing your Staff. Doing so, will also allow you time to focus on other areas, stay organized, and not be overwhelmed.   This is how I learned the art of Multi-tasking!!!

Family

If it means packing up the backpacks the night before, preparing lunches for the week on Sunday, and putting together outfits for week, DO IT!  This time saving measure will save you so much grief in the mornings , when you are rushing out the door!  You may even enjoy your cup of coffee!  Wouldn’t that be nice????

School

If you are continuing your education AND have a family, in addition to working full-time…I know your PAIN!  Doing as much homework and studying for tests in as far in advance as possible (on your lunch break at work, or on the weekends for example), will really make you feel like YOU GOT THIS!  And SHE-DO!

Significant other

Remind He/She (kindly, as often as deemed necessary), that with their assistance in keeping things in order, will give you MORE TIME to spend with He/She!  Now who can argue with that?  Can I get an Amen??

As you grow as a Woman, you will learn and improvise in a variety of ways that improve your lifestyle.

Who does that?  SHE-DO!

  4. Yessssss! It really does help prepping for the hectic weeks ahead of time! Not only are you saving time, but giving yourself more time, lessening the risk of forgetting something important you may need for the day! Setting a routine helps me too!
