The Fall and Holiday seasons are fast approaching, as we near the ending of yet another Summer and another year, and we leap right into the Shopping and Holiday festive-modes.  If you have been planning  all year long, you will not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of it all.   You’ll be indoors toasting it up and celebrating with Friends and Family.  We all know, that this is NOT the time to diet or try to lose any weight, so don’t even punish yourself!  Now is the time (do we really need a reason), to indulge in ALL our favorite foods and guilty pleasures – AND as often as possible!  I personally recommend that you indulge year-round.  It’s all about balance, right?

Fall is my favorite season!  Although living in Florida, we won’t get the full-blown, breezy Fall affect as you would say living up North where I am originally from, but at least the humidity is at an all time low, and you’ll see a few colored leaves blowing from the trees.   I tend to do a lot more Cooking and Baking from scratch, stocking up on Incense and Candles, changing the Décor and Color scheme indoors (again), and in a more than usual Festive mood.  I am always grateful and looking forward to what Life has to offer in the coming New year.

We are also nearing the Season where people are even more Depressed and Saddened because they are away from Loved ones, are Alone, or in a Dire need or situation.   If you have the time and means, Donate that to helping someone who may be less fortunate, and in need of a Helping hand.   I recently cleaned out my closets and instead of taking my clothing to any of the collection sites, I gave it to a Homeless stranger.    Volunteering your time and skill, is also a good way of giving back.  I enjoyed Serving and Feeding the Hungry, visiting the Senior group homes and talking with People.  It’s enlightening the knowledge and enrichment you gain from talking with an Elderly wise person!

You don’t have to be rich to Help others, but you do have to be Kind.  If you enjoy doing yard work, for example, perhaps you can help a Neighbor who can no longer keep up with the physical demands.  If you have transportation, giving someone a ride to the store, or going to the store for them, will be such a huge burden that is lifted from having to take Public transportation.

The difference of helping others can make in your OWN  Life, is priceless!

The point is…

PAYING IT FORWARD.  BE ONE – TO LIFT ONE.

Now “THAT” would be a reason to be Jolly!

  1. Fantastic blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?

I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option?
There are so many options out there that I’m totally confused ..

    Any ideas? Cheers!
